- Lateral entry to second year for diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates (minimum 50%)

- 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics compulsory plus one of Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject; at least 50% in these together (45% reserved category) with minimum 60% in Mathematics
