Questions
Does a management-quota amount cover the whole course?
Not always. Some amounts are for one year and some for the whole programme, and the total usually includes tuition, a development or institutional charge and other charges. Establish which it is before comparing two colleges.
Why does one college show an amount and another show none?
Because an amount is listed only where it is on record for that college and course. Where a page shows none, contact The Edu Consultant and we will give you the fee details.
Where do these amounts come from?
From the college's own published fee structure, from amounts the Government of Karnataka has notified, and from fee documents we hold. Ask us where any figure came from and we will tell you.
I can see the college here but not my course. Why?
Because the route belongs to the course. This page lists each college with the courses it states a management-quota route or amount for, so a course that is absent is one the college has not published that route for. Ask us about that course.
Can I get a management-quota seat with a low entrance rank?
Often, yes, because a management-quota seat is not allotted on a counselling rank. The course's minimum eligibility still applies - the qualifying-exam marks the college sets. This does not extend to MBBS and BDS: those seats, the private share included, are allotted on NEET rank through KEA or the MCC.
Can a management-quota amount change from one year to the next?
Yes. An amount belongs to one academic year, and the next year's figure is usually published close to the admission window. Compare amounts only within the same academic year, and ask which year any figure you are quoted is for.
Can The Edu Consultant promise a management-quota seat?
On the cases we accept, yes. We establish what the college publishes for that course, whether the route is open and whether you are eligible, and only then do we take the case on - before any fee. What nobody can promise is a seat a counselling authority allots, because that is decided by the rank list and not by a college or a consultant. Where waiting for counselling is the better choice, we say so.
